Windows 10: Theme background reverts to default when a monitor turns off/on.

I have Windows 11, fully updated and with no other niggles but this one. It turned up goodness knows how long ago and about once a month I try and fix it, but cannot find an answer that actually works. Here's how it goes;Set theme using Personalise, I have saved the theme - I have saved it twice as the only 'quick' fix is to bounce between the two identical themes - as it still thinks it has the right background pictures and thus, won't change to them. The Theme works for as long as all the monitors are left on, locking the PC for any length of time does nothing - it is only when I physically

Hello guys I am encountering the same problem. What you have suggested is working but every time I restart or turn on my computer, it reverted the theme to "unsaved theme."

Everytime my computer sleeps and I turn it back on, the theme reverts to the default Windows theme. I have been constantly going to Personalization in order to switch the theme to the theme of my choice and delete the default theme. I would like to be
able to apply the theme of my choice and not have to keep on changing it from the default theme. If you have a solution, please help!

Before assisting further, I would like to ask you few questions regarding the query:

• From which option are you setting the desktop theme (My themes or Windows Default themes)?
• Have you created any theme of your own?

Set the theme from My Themes by following the steps below and check if the issue is resolved.

• Open Personalize page by pressing Windows Key + I on the keyboard and selecting
  Personalization option from the window.
• Click on Themes from the left side panel of the window and click on
  Theme settings.
• Select a theme under My Themes and check if the changes are effective.
