Windows 10: Lenovo IdeaPad1 stuck in Recovery mode. Will not allow re - install of Windows 11 or...

Need help. I have a year old Lenovo IdeaPad1 that suddenly will not start but goes into Recovery mode. In this there is a menu for various options none of which work except for command prompt or download from USB. It came with Windows 11 but when I tried to re install it refused saying the computer does not support Windows 11. So, I downloaded the media creation from Microsoft for Windows 10. When I tried to install a window came up asking where do you want to install? It gives 4 options. Drive 1 Partition 1: SYSTEM_DRIV 260.0 MB 209.0 MB SystemDrive 1 Partitio

My windows 11 computer is stuck in recovery mode

My windows 11 computer is stuck in recovery mode and when I try to reset the PC it says that additional free space is needed and I need to free up space. I’m not sure how to go about that while stuck in recovery mode.

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

I understand that you are unable to boot the PC normally as it is stuck in recovery mode.

1. Were there any recent updates installed on the PC?
   
2. What is the exact make and model of the PC?
   

I would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below and check if that helps.



Method 1:



Boot the PC into safe mode with networking and check if you are able to login. Refer the article to

Start your PC in safe mode in Windows 10, refer the section
From a black or blank screen.



Method 2:



Perform a system restore to revert the PC back to the state when everything was working fine. Refer the article

Recovery options in Windows 10, refer the section
Use installation media to restore or reset your PC.



Note:
Do not reset the PC; resetting the PC will remove all the data and installed programs from the PC.
