Microsoft want people to spend money they probably don't have on a newer version of CPU in order to install Windows 11. A CPU is a piece of hardware that needs installed by a PC engineer or someone who knows what they are doing. Its not changing a light bulb and will usually cost most people money not just for the new CPU but also for its installation. Its not a simple process and its not something you should need to do in order to use a new version of Windows. In order to extend the window on how long you can use Windows 11 whilst still receiving Microsoft updates/support - please ask Microso
