Windows 10: How do i enable sensors so windows 11 upgrade can sense my HP Spectre 360 Convertible is in...

Hoping you can all help me resolve an issue with a Windows 11 Upgrade. My HP Spectre x360 convertible laptop will not sense when it is flipped or put into tablet mode. I can't believe there isn't a fix for this but i can't seem to find any solutions either on HP or Microsoft. I've tried updating drivers, updates, puting the sensor services onto automatic and nothing is helping. I managed to add the rotation lock toggle which means i can now turn it on or off but it hasn't solved the situation. Please help, thanks

HP Spectre 360 15" UHD: NO camera after Windows 11 upgrade

I have the same laptop as you (15-eb1043dx) and found your thread while trying to figure out why my laptop fails during the Windows 11 upgrade process. The picture below are the camera drivers shown in my device manager after my computer reverted back to Windows 10. When you flip your camera switch, do you see the little flap cover and uncover the camera? When the camera switch is off, the hardware actually puts a little cover over the camera (you'll see little black and white diagonal stripes in the rectangular camera window when the camera is covered and off) and actually disconnects the camera's internal USB connection from the system. When I turn my camera switch off, the camera disappears from Windows 10 device manager. Maybe something isn't working right with your camera switch or it's stuck off? Not to hijack your thread, but did you have any other issues upgrading to Windows 11? I seem to have some driver issue causing it to bluescreen during the install.

- - - Updated - - - I updated a bunch of drivers in Windows 10 and then managed to successfully upgrade to Windows 11. My camera still works. It shows up the same in device manager as it did in Windows 10.

 

HP x360 Spectre Windows Hello No Longer Working

Thanks for the suggestion. For reference (for people coming after me trying to find a solution), the steps Lee is suggesting are as follows:

• Device Security > Security Processor Details > Security Processor Troubleshooting > Clear TPM

Appreciate the help, Lee, but resetting the TPM using the process above didn't work. All it did was make me reset my PIN and sign in again via my Microsoft account. As I mentioned in my initial post, I have an HP Spectre
x360 Convertible 13-ae0xx, so I've been using the drivers found here:

Also as I mentioned, the latest drivers are installed - that's always my first go-to solution (other than turning it off and on again! ).

Any other suggestions?
