Windows 10: Agent in live chat corrupted my files

Hello I was having stutter in games in two different computers after getting windows 11 24h2 After this I decided yesterday to talk to an agent in live chat the agent asked me what is the problem and then he remote my PC and did things like updating driver from windows and then he did things in windows settings and he disabled some things in Asus from windows I don't know it well after he finished he did another things he told me he will restart so I told him what to do and I need you after restarting to complete with me and see if there is problems while taking he restarted without telling

Microsoft Live Chat Support or Help with Issue

Getting to an agent via Live Chat took me over an hour and was extremely convoluted *Confused. So much so that I honestly cannot recall all the steps I took. I believe their system is designed to have one go on a 'treasure hunt' as all other sites with live chat have that little chat pop-up.

 

Corrupted file RAR

If the archive has been created using WinRAR, why don't you try WinRAR itself? It has a built-in repair feature for repairing corrupted archive (ZIP as well as RAR). Follow the steps given below:

• Open WinRAR application in your system.
• Now click on File tab > Open or simply press Ctrl+O.
• A small window "Find Archive" will pop up. Locate the corrupt RAR archive from your system directory and select it.
• Now click Open button.
• Click Tools tab > Repair archive or simply press Alt+R.
• Again a small window "Repairing File name.rar" will pop up.
• Now click Browse to select a location to save the repaired archive.
• Check the box "Treat the corrupt archive as RAR" and click OK.
• WinRAR will start repairing of corrupt RAR archive. Once it gets completed click Close.
