    I think it's likely due to a windows or driver update, but I'm not really sure how to read the minidump. If it helps, preceding this crash there were a few more "fault bucket, type 0" events with the event name, "LiveKernalEvent," in the event viewer.     I have been getting BSoD more frequently and I am looking for to identify the issue before replacing hardware. I'm assuming it's my CPU.

    ok did a reinstall as suggested, which completely lost all apps, so after reinstalling the graphics and sound drivers, proceeded with a game, but again same crash.
