    Windows Hello fingerprint setup stuck after installing dual boot with Linux


    I previously had fingerprint login working on my Framework Laptop 13 AMD 7040 series running Windows 11. After I installed Ubuntu Linux alongside Windows dual-boot, Windows Hello fingerprint login stopped functioning.I tried to remove the old fingerprint data and re-register a new one. However, after entering my Windows Hello PIN/passphrase, the setup screen gets stuck at the message “We need to scan your fingerprint multiple times,” and it never prompts me to actually scan my fingerprint.Here's what I’ve tried so far:Reinstalled the fingerprint driver Goodix from the OEM websiteVerified

    Windows Hello Fingerprint Setup not working

    I have same issue with my laptop HP DV6 Pavilion.WIndows hello finger print setup is not working even after this above solution .When i setup finger print sensor i recieve error something went wrong.
