    My laptop taking me to new user account and asking for password which i don’t know.


    Hi there, i have laptop when i start it, it takes me to new user account and asking me for password which i don’t know. However, if i try to reset the password it says this is not admin account. I have tried everything even tried to reset the PC but didn’t work. Are you able to help me with this?My C drive was almost full and i am assuming that could be the reason. Is there any way to clear some temporary files or stuff using CMD.Your help would be much appreciated.

    My Asus laptop didn`t accept the password, Microsoft asked to change it

    Today my Asus laptop didn`t accept the usual password I have been using for years. A note asked me to reset Microsoft password and after that, using this new password, I was able to start my computer.

    Anybody knows why did this happen? Since when Microsoft is controlling my personal computer in such a way that I can`t even open if they don`t want to?

    I reset my windows 10 laptop password. I forgot the new password and now I am locked out of my computer.

    Kindly consider the following steps:

    1. Go to the Microsoft account password reset page (https://account.live.com/password/reset) and sign in with the email address associated with your Microsoft account that the laptop is linked to.
    2. Microsoft will ask to verify your identity. Choose to receive the verification code via email or phone number associated with the account.
    3. Once you receive the verification code, enter it on the website to prove it's you.
    4. You'll then be prompted to create a new password for your Microsoft account.
    5. After resetting your Microsoft account password, restart your laptop and try signing in with the new password you just created
    Please do let me know if the method I suggested works for you or if you need further assistance.
