Windows 10: Whenever music or video stops the bluetooth gets disconnected automatically.

Sometimes it gets reconnected again and sometimes it doesn't.The speaker works fine on other devices.I am on version 24H2

Streaming music on bluetooth disconnects wifi


Having upgraded form 8.1 to Windows 10 I now find that streaming music on bluetooth disconnects wifi. It does this every time within a few minuets. (Bluetooth and Adapter drivers are up to date.) I have changed the virgin super hub from channel 1 to 12 but problem remains)
Any suggestions?

WP8: Music & Video Hub will NOT stop playing music after bluetooth disconnect

I recently received a new Lumia 1520 and paired it with my Ford Sync bluetooth.
It has been working great, except that when it connects, the XBOX Music Hub starts playing my music...even though I am listening to the OTA radio...AND it will not stop playing music (though I cannot hear it) after I disconnect from the car.

There is no way to change this behavior. I have killed the app, but it immediately restarts after the next connection to the car bluetooth!

Also, after disconnecting, it is still "playing" the music, but there is no sound coming out of the phone...most of the time...I have had the speaker start working after a disconnect once, but it was the only time this has happened.

I believe the behavior should be:

1) play only when I switch to the bluetooth audio feed from my car radio. Android and IOS both work this way.
2) stop playing when I select a different radio function other than bluetooth audio. Again, Adroid and IOS both work this way.
3) stop playing when the phone disconnects from the bluetooth device...like when I exit the car. Again, Android and IOS work this way.
4) connect only the speaker phone profile on initial connection to car bluetooth device...unless it is in bluetooth device mode upon setup.

I want to be able to use the speaker phone function only for 90% of my time in the car...I don't need it wasting battery playing music to a feed that I am not even listening to.

Anybody experience this before? I have a 2010 Ford F150 with Sync. (a MS product by the way )

 

Windows: Wireless/bluetooth headphones disconnect and then reconnect without sound if pc stops playing sound

Windows version: 10 pro, version 10.0.17134 Build 17134 (according to system information)

headphone brand: 3sixT wireless bluetooth headphones
laptop: surface laptop

Issue:

Headphones connect to laptop, listed in bluetooth settings as connected for voice,music

If I don't start playing any sounds (music, youtube etc) in the next ~30 seconds after connecting, the headphones alert me that they have disconnected and reconnected, but now they list only voice connected. Same thing happens if I was listening to something and stop/pause it for too long.

They are no longer available in the audio output changer in task bar when this happens and any audio played goes through laptop main speakers.

The device manufacturer (3sixT) does not provide any drivers and they seem to use the standard bluetooth headphone drivers available on whatever system they are connected to.

These headphones connect without issues to my phone (android); issue only seems to be with my laptop.

Unable to find many discussions of similar issues, and those that I could used outdated advice / settings that no longer exist (one suggested something in power settings for the device under the device manager page, but that setting/tab doesn't appear for my device)

tried uninstalling/reinstalling drivers, rolling back drivers, making sure bluetooth service start automatically... Nothing seems to work

Any ideas how I can resolve this, so that my headphones can sit quetly for any amount of time without disconnecting / reconnecting without dropping the 'connected music' setting?
