Windows 10: I can't change to my admin user, and i don't have admin privileges to change my current user.

Hi everyone i have a BIG problem. Starting from the beginning i put Family Safety parental control on myself due to videogames addiction, and i created an user and set it as admin i know the password, thats not the problem. But after i set off the parental control, the change user option simply disappeared from the computer. Even in the login screen there's nothing on the bottom left. Curiously Family Safety keeps working on Edge even tho i DISABLED it. I am stuck in this limbo with my personal user that is not admin, and i dont have the admin priviliges to change it to admin, but at the sa

Hello, I'm using a Windows 11 laptop and need guidance on how to grant elevation privileges to a non-admin account. Specifically, I want this user account to have the ability to perform certain tasks typically reserved for admin accounts, without granting it full admin rights. Could you please provide detailed steps or recommendations on how to configure these elevated privileges securely? When installing applications, i want a standard user to be allowed to make changes on the device (the pop up screen).

Hello. I only have one account on my pc and I have transformed it into an user account. Now I can't access the admin privileges. How should I

why can't I - as sole user of this PC - have admin rights to my own machine?





the minute I select Administrator the option to change account type is greyed out.

Perhaps you can't in Windows 10. In that case, it is ridiculous
