Windows 10: Errors with June Cumulative Update.

2025-06 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based Systems KB5060829I have tried to install this download many times since it came out. Every time it takes hours to download and then fails installation. Any ideas on how I can get it installed or what the problem might be? I am not a techy person, so please if you offer assistance, be very specific and give step by step instructions. Also, the 2025-06 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64 based systems kb5063060 had the same issue. The install error I got on it is 0x800f081f. This update doesn't show

I suggest you to uninstall the Cumulative update and check if it helps.

Follow the steps below.

  Go to control panel, then click on
  Programs and Features.
  
• 
  Tap on View installed updates, then find the update.
  
• 
  Right click on the update and uninstall the update.
  

And also you can temporarily disable the
Cumulative update.

May and June Cumulative Updates Fail to Install

I receive the following message for both May KB4100403 and June KB4284835 2018 Cumulative Updates to Windows 10, version 1803 for x64-based systems:

Other updates such as definition updates for Windows Defender Antivirus download and install OK.

Microsoft Released June 2024 cumulative updates for Windows 11, 10 on 11th June 2024

Hello, my main computer installed the latest updates for June, yet for some odd reason, my wireless mouse has started acting erratically. I would move over my desktop icons and without clicking the right mouse button the icons would drag across the screen. Also there are random phantom right clicks when I move to the start button or when I try to select from the list in context menus.

I don't see the update listed in the list of updates I can uninstall.

I tried using system restore.

Any suggestions or anyone have same similar problem?

I changed the battery in the mouse.

I reverted the USB Controller in Device Manager to a previous driver yet does not solve the problem.

Is there anyway to remove the cumulative update and block it installing? - My computer had been working fine before this update.
