Sabertooth 990fx won't boot to windows logo, it shuts down

to boot and enter bios and load windows, any todays PSU (with the correct plugs) will work, AFAIK

to enter BIOS only low wattage is used.
Then, during boot, the HDD and a bit later the videocard card start to demand juice, then the other devices and periphericals... so the total demand during boot up is incrementing step by step, that's why a failure halfway could indicate a PSU problem....

3. Check boot priority: Ensure that the boot priority is set correctly in the BIOS. The drive containing your operating system (usually your primary storage drive) should be set as the first boot option.
   
4. Check for Windows corruption: To rule out Windows-related issues, you can try creating a bootable USB with Windows installation media (using another PC) and see if it recognizes your storage drive during the installation process. If it does, you can attempt to repair or reinstall Windows. This will also help verify if your OS drive is functioning correctly.
   
5. Test with a different GPU (if available): If you have access to another GPU, try installing it in your system and see if the PC boots up properly. This will help determine if the issue is related to the GPU or something else.
   
6. Test without the GPU: As a final step, try booting the system without the GPU installed. If your CPU has integrated graphics (check if your CPU supports this feature), connect your display directly to the motherboard's video output. This will help determine if the issue is isolated to the GPU or if there's a broader problem.
