Windows 10: Wifi option is not showing in my laptop I tried every possible way from my side

Nope, I've tried all the steps of all the fixes listed by Dalchina and Try3 but the problem still exists. The W10 laptop refuses to access my main W7 pc (named CG16) on my home network, although it can 'see' it, ie, it shows CG16 in the network list. The only thing I haven't tried is Dalchina's suggestion about creating a shortcut, mainly because I'm not sure where this shortcut is supposed to be. I'm assuming it has to be on the W10 laptop but I don't understand how it could work. More info please, Dalchina, if you'd be so kind. Daymin, sorry: I have no idea what you're trying to say.

 

No possible to manage wifi connections with windows 10

Hi there,

After upgrading to Windows 10 I have encountered a silly but important problem.

I have changed the password of my home wifi. Unfortunately, in every previous version of windows that would not be a problem but with Windows 10 that it is.

When opening the list of the available wireless connections is not possible anymore to right-click on the chosen connection to access the properties. This means that I cannot forget my home wifi nor change the key. Result: there is no way I can connect to
my wifi again.

I have tried any possible way through settings and through the network centre but it seems that Windows 10 misses this option.

Would someone have any suggestion?

Hi Elda,

If the boot sequence didn't work, then we suggest try running the laptop in safe mode. To do this, here's a few steps to follow:

• Power down your laptop.
• Turn it back on again.
• When you turn it back on, press F8 repeatedly until the power on option appeared.
  
• If you see the boot option "Safe Mode with Networking", choose that option.
• See if you can boot up in Safe mode.
