Windows 10: Kinect for windows help

Can anyone help me on this issue regarding a sls camera ive made , ive downloaded all relevant software and thats working fine but when I connect the kinect sensor and open relevant software it says ""not powered" ive tried it on battery and mains power supply with same outcome , ive also checked the drivers and all say working properly

To answer your query, Kinect for Windows is only programmed to work on Windows computers. Xbox consoles like Xbox One and Xbox 360 can use Xbox Kinect specifically programmed for each of them.

We understand that you are trying to play using Xbox 360 Kinect and is unable to because the Kinect is somehow not detected by your PC. Let us check on this together so you will get back to gaming.

You may try to isolate the issue by performing basic troubleshooting that we have below.

Suggested troubleshooting:

1. Try to connect your Kinect on Xbox 360 Console and check if it working fine. (Kindly install update if prompted.)
   
2. Keep your Windows PC and Xbox apps and Kinect updated.
   
3. Restart device.
   
4. Turn off or disable all antivirus, antimalware, VPN, firewall and PC Optimizer.

My Kinect 2.0 don't work with my computer

Thank you for your response. To further isolate your concern, we suggest that you plug the Kinect into a different USB 3.0 port on your PC. If possible, set up the Kinect on a different computer to test if there is an issue with the system configuration
on your computer.

It is also possible that your computer software is outdated. We suggest that you install all the critical and important updates by following the steps on this

link.

If you have a spare Kinect Adapter, you can use it on your Kinect to check if there is an issue with the Adapter.
