  1. Windows 10 update killed VM

I have a virtual machine running Windows 10 on my PC. An update was installed sometime in past week or so and now my VM is running extremly slow. I have tried everything to remove the recent updates. I think the one that is causing the issue from what I've read is KB5060533. My virtual CPU is running at 100%. Applications take 10 minutes or more to load and are so sluggish it is unusable. I have tried uninstalling the update and when rebooting I get not able to complete or the blue screen of death and it reinstalls it. I booted in Safe Mode and did an uninstall from the admin command prompt -

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
