Windows 10: Beware of the windows 11 24H2 update KB5060829!

Early morning on June 26, 2025, when I turn my system on there was an update already started installing and it was this KB5060829, so I let it finish. After the restart log back in and my steam app didn't show up, I checked and found it was erased, and all my games were gone. As of yesterday, I finally got all the games reinstalled. Everything is back to normal now. I like to say is why is windows update erasing data on another drive that has nothing to do with windows update.Why windows updates cause more problems than fixes?
