    Windows 11 Upgrade Error 0xC1900101 - 0x40021


    I tried to upgrade Windows 11 from Windows 10 with iso setup. It shows this error "0xC1900101 - 0x40021 The installation failed in the SECOND_BOOT phase with an error during SYSPREP_RESPECIALIZE operation".PS: I didn't see Windows 11 product so I choose Microsoft 365 Inside as product.

    Hello,

    I'm trying to upgrade my Windows 10 to Windows 11 but I've got a blue screen with this error :
    INVALID_DATA_ACCESS_TRAP

    After that, when I came in Windows 10, the configuration of Windows 11 tell this error :

    0xC1900101 - 0x40021 : The installation failed in the SECOND_BOOT phase with an error in the BOOT operator.

    (This error occurs when I'm use the ISO file)
    (I've already tried Windows 11 Installation Assistant)

    • 0xC1900101 - 0x40021 the installation failed in the SECOND_BOOT phase during SYSPREP_RESPECIALIZE operation.
    • I dont know how to solve this, and I wasn't able to find a solution. Im upgrading from windows 7

    So recently I tried updating my computer which is running Windows 10 currently...to Windows 11 but the upgrade froze on a black screen and so I force-restarted my computer and it rolled back to Windows 10 with this error :

    We couldn't install Windows 11

    We've set your PC back to the way it was right before you started installing Windows 11.
