Windows 10: my computer was switched at the mains and when I returned the size of everything is huge

My computer was switched off by accident and when I switched it back on, everything is over twice the normal size

Windows 10 Update: Taskbar grew in size, cannot return to original state

Following the recent Windows update, the taskbar on my main monitor has grown significantly in size. I cannot make it smaller when the taskbar is unlocked.

Switching to small taskbar icons returns the taskbar on my main monitor to it's original size, but brings it's own problems:

1. When hovering over an icon that has open windows, the preview of the windows is much larger than before
2. The date and time use black text instead of white text, leaving a seemingly blank space on the taskbar
3. The taskbar on my second, smaller monitor also shrinks, leaving it too small.

It should be noted that before the updated, my taskbars were the same size, but now the one on my main monitor is significantly larger.

Both of my monitors are 4K, which might be part of the issue.

Is there a way make both taskbars the same size again?

 

Windows 10 Title Font size is huge after waking my laptop from sleep

For the past weeks I have had a problem with the Title bar font size being huge whenever I awaken my laptop from sleep.

The steps to reproduce are:

1. Close the lid of my laptop to put my laptop to sleep. Applications are still up when I close the lid.
   
2. Open the lid of my laptop (usually the next morning). The font size of the window title bar of open applications and anything I open is huge.
   

I have checked the registry entries that contain the title bar font size. None of these entries have changed.

If I close all applications a re-start my laptop, the title bar font size is back to normal.

However, the problem persists. When I close the laptop screen to put the laptop to sleep and open the lid to awaken the laptop, window title bar fonts are huge.
