    Win11's clipboard is too short.

Hello! In win10, using win+v to evoke the clipboard I can see many entries, whereas in win11 I can only see the three most recent entries to the point where I have to scroll down to see them.I think win11 has a better UI but the clipboard shows too little information!Thank you!

  2. Snip & Sketch - saving to Desktop sometimes works and sometimes does Not work (Win11)

On Win11 Snip & Sketch sometimes copies from the clipboard to the desktop and sometimes does Not

copy to the Desktop. The failed copies are listed in the recent action list, but when accessed Win11 gives

the error that "file has been moved"....

So I went into Settings to check that "Autocopy to Clipboard" was On

I noticed that there was also a setting for "Save Snips" which gives a confirmation

box when doing a save - so I set this to On

Somehow confirming the save seems to have fixed the problem, adding a step is a drag, but

at least now snip & sketch has been working every time

    Pasting from clipboard

Thank you, The first suggestion worked. The second did also provided I did not click in the Paint window first.

I'd spent some time trying to work it out for myself but was fooled by the clipboard window always closing prematurely. So thanks again.

Also thanks to Frederick, although solved, I've noted your alternative suggestion.

How to keep open Clipboard in Win11 permanently?

Hi MD. I'm Greg, 10 years awarded Windows MVP, here to help you.

If find nothing about how to keep the clipboard open, however since there's a tutorial on how to enable it by MVP Shawn Brink here: https://www.elevenforum.com/t/enable-or-disable..., and Shawn is often the best expert on subjects he writes about, I would ask him in the Comments section of his tutorial in the link.

If not and you want to suggest this to Microsoft you may be able to help improve this product/experience by using the Feedback Hub in the Start Menu apps list. Microsoft developers DO read feedback from customers that comes in via the Feedback Hub, so that is a great way to share your thoughts on how to better serve you as a customer.

    I hope it helps.
