    Brower issue: Chrome & Firefox won't launch - only Edge


    Chrome will launch and disappear. Firefox won't launch at all. I've review a number of troubleshooting attempts with no success. Please help as I use Chrome and do not like Edge. This is for Windows 11 Home latest on a 2024 build machine Dell Inspiron 16 7640Attempted steps:I called Best Buy Geek Squad & Dell Support - they were not able to resolve.I installed latest updates - not resolving.I uninstalled via control panel & reinstalled - not resolving.I've disabled all anti-virus in case that was blocking the browser from launching - not resolving.I read that that it worked to de

    Site links not working in Chrome or Edge

    Hi,





    Have you tried resetting your browser? If not, we suggest you to do so. To reset Edge, follow these steps:


    • Go to
      Browser Settings.

    • Clear
      Browser Data.

    • Close the browser and launch it again.



    If the issue persist, follow these other steps:


    • Go to
      Task Manager.

    • Click on
      MicrosoftedgeCP.exe

    • End the task.



    Let us know how it goes.

    Microsoft Family Features blocking Chrome and Firefox

    How do I make it so it doesn`t do this? I have already removed myself from my Microsoft family and it still won`t let me access firefox or google chrome.

    Edge - Chrome and Firefox - What a mess

    I wonder if anyone can help - I have been experiencing strange problem swith browsers and have had to uninstall Chrome and Firefox, and now EDGE won't launch on Windows 10. I have followed all the steps I can find online including the one to use Powershell
    and I get this error.

    I'm stumped
