Windows 10: Netowork connections become dormant after 2 minutes on Windows 10

All network connections, after the comptuer starts or after the adaptor gets enabled, become dormant after a set period of time around a minute or maybe 2, I didn't count but it is a fixed period of time by feeling They show as disabled in network connections but are actually dormant if I use the command in the powershell to see the status. They cannot be reenabled because they are dormant and must be reset by disabling and enabling the network adaptor device. If they happen to connect successfully, the network works and I can download stuff but it still becomes dormant after that set period

laptop always going into Sleep mode after 2 to 3 min when dormant.

I downloaded Windows 10 from Windows 8.1, when starting up my Laptop my laptop will go into sleep mode if it is dormant for 2 min, the screensaver doesn't start up either. In power options when plugged in all say never so is there a fix for this as its
a pain having to sign in every 2 minute's.

Windows 10 (sometimes) goes to sleep after only 2 minutes of inactivity

Hello Mark,

Your screensaver might be one of the possible reasons why your computer goes to sleep every time the computer is inactive. It is possible that the idle time is set every 2 minutes. Having said that, you can try adjusting the waiting time by following the
steps below and see if it makes any difference:

• Go to Control Panel, click on Appearance and Personalization.
• Select Personalization.
  
• Click on Screen Saver at the bottom right.
• Adjust the waiting time and hit Apply.
