    Head Phone or Ear Wioks

I am wanting to be able to listen to my tv using some kind of device so that my wife will NOT complain about me have the sound on the TV too loud.

I don't really care for head phones. I prefer what I call an ear wick which are soft sound devices I can insert in to my ears and listen.

BTW my recliner is about 15 feet from the TV. There are two different sound plug-ins on the back of the tv; a single out plug output and a double plug output.

    Any suggestion would be helpful.

Files copied to USB drive on Windows 10 laptop do not show when plugged into Windows 11 computer

Just built a new PC, installed Win 11 Home on it. Wanted to move files from my old Win 10 laptop.

Step 1: Copied several directories to a new USB SSD, plugged this drive into the new machine and successfully copied the files.

Step 2: Returned to the old laptop, deleted files from drive, then copied a few more directories onto it. When I returned to the new computer and plugged in the drive, it showed all the old files still in place. However opening these directories revealed them to be empty. Refreshing the view does not show the new files.

Step 3: Still at the new computer, I performed a delete on these old files, drive shows empty. Return to old laptop, plug drive in again, still looks empty. I copy this second set of files over again and take drive back to the new computer. I am careful to properly eject the drive, just in case that was my previous error.

Step 4: Boot new computer, plug in drive - still shows previous state (empty, no files). However the drive also shows that some of the space is used. Once again, refresh has no effect. I return to the old laptop, it does see the files still on the drive.

So - why does the new computer not see the changes to the drive made on the old computer? And how do I convince Windows 11 to accept the changes made on a Windows 10 machine?
