Windows 10: Items in folder are not returning to last position 2

This problem is really cheezing me off now .Load a folder of images then create a new folder within the original name it then add to quick access this folder then will have images dragged into it.Now normally after you have done this you should return to the place you were within the main folder and carry on .BUT it returns to the top AHHHH !!! .Sergio Agunti Two months ago was very helpful and gave me loads of options to try which in the end made the problem workable BUT now its crazy does not respond to any adjustments : This makes my workload go up 10 fold .Never ever had to endur

"Recent Items" list vs Opening a folder for Recent Items


Hello all... I am not understanding how MS elected removed the list of recent files and replaced it with opening a folder to see the recent files. That is now a 2 step process because you have to close the folder. I used the "recent items" a lot and I miss it - I'm sure others do ass well.
The solutions offered here only are partial, they only add the link to the start menu / jump lists, but those still open an actual folder which then has to be closed. If you open multiple files, then you have to close multiple folders. Odd...
I'm not a programmer - but I'm thinking (hoping!) that someone around here may be knowledgeable enough to find a way to return the actual "Recent Items" list, without opening a folder.
I'm thinking I may not be alone on this one...

Recycle Bin - Deleting an item returning 'Folder Access Denied'

Hi,

I am trying to delete a file from one of my user's PC's and I keep getting the below message returned:





I have referenced this thread already -> Recycle Bin Corrupted - Cannot Delete File or Folder

Method 1 returns no results - when I actually navigate to c:\$recycle.bin it shows as empty, and there are no other drives I cannot locate the file in (show hidden files is selected)
Method 2 - I cannot see the hidden $recycle.bin folder in the C drive with hidden files ticked on.

What I have tried:
- I have tried running the recycle bin as an administrator
- Tried running cmd as admin to clear the recycle bin
- Tried running CCleaner to clear the recycle bin
- Tried restoring the file in question (won't restore)

Anyone have any other suggestions?

Newegg - Do you check your returned items at all?

I do not order anything off the "open box" shelf over at newegg. Most of it are just returns from prior customers. They look at it for 2 seconds before listing it as a restock and selling it to someone that will return it again for the same reason.

Read the reviews under the item labled "open box" and the comments will probably leave a trail to what's in your basket.
