Allow UAC require fingerprint but disable it on login

Is there a way to disable a fingerprint login for the administrator but leave this possibility enabled in an UAC prompt in Windows 10? After reading this topic, I've set a value of 1 in the appropriate registry entry, so now it always requires a fingerprint or a PIN/password in the UAC prompt.

However, I don't want to allow the fingerprint login, but using gpedit

disables it everywhere, including the UAC prompt.

Is it possible to disable fingerprint only on login?

To disable UAC prompts, I suggest you to follow the steps provided below:

• In the search bar, type Control Panel and press Enter.
• Click on User Accounts and again click on User Accounts.
• Click on Change User account control settings.
• Provide password for the UAC prompt.
• Drag the box from Always Notify to Never Notify and click on OK.
• Provide password for the UAC prompt (if asked again).

Important: Turning off UAC reduces the security of your computer and may expose you to increased risk from malicious software. We do not recommend leaving UAC disabled.

UAC - windows update

I highly do not recommend turning off UAC, like others have stated. Yet, I found this page telling you how to disable it. It possibly could fix the issue you are facing. But please remember to make a note of this page, assuming you used it to disable UAC completely. This page supposedly tells you how to completely disable the option for UAC, and not the "Never Notify" option. So if you want to enable the option to use UAC, you must re-enable it again using the steps on this page: 4 Ways to Turn Off the User Account Control Prompt on Windows 11 It says it's for Windows 11, but I'm sure it works for Windows 10 as well. Use option 2 (Registry Editor) or option 3 (Command Prompt). Please make sure you follow the steps exactly as they are, so you don't accidentally mess up other important settings on your computer.
