    AND THEY STAY THAT WAY!!! Jeez was it annoying having to turn the system sounds down every single time I close the mixer. Figured I would post that in case anyone is frustrated looking for a fix and had trouble finding one like myself. Happy tinkering.

    Setting a specific sound for a specific alarm

    Windows 10 Mobile on a Lumia 640 LTE

    I set several custom alarm times, and choose a specific sound for that alarm. (Ringtone, etc)

    However, every alarm uses the Default Notification Sound for the App. Not the specific sound I choose in the alarm setup (repeat, etc)

    As per the description I understand that you are unable to hear the email notification sound.

    I suggest you to try the following steps and check if it helps:


    • Go to Control Panel Items

    • Click on Sound.

    • Click on Sounds Tab.

    • Click on Desktop Mail Notification.

    • Click TEST.

    • Click OK.
    And check if you are able to hear the email notification sound.

    Step 1: Click the lower-left Start button, input sound and select Sound from the results to open Sound settings

    Step 2: In the Sound dialog, open Sounds and choose Notification in the program events.

    Step 3: Tap the Sounds bar, select (None) in the list and click OK.
