UEFI: Interactive Shell: No mapping found

Hi!

So I have an Asus laptop, but when I try to boot it up, it shows the Asus logo, as per usual, but then it shows me a screen that states:

UEFI Interactive Shell v2.2

EDK II

UEFI v2.70 (American Megatrends, 0x00050013)

map: No mapping found

Press ESC in 1 second to skip startup.nsh or any other key to continue.

How do I get out of this?

I did as you asked and opened BIOS and restore defaults.

The only one available in Boot Option Priorities are "UEFI: Built-in EFI Shell", and Disabled.

I tried setting it to "disabled", but as one might expect, it still puts me back to the previously mentioned UEFI screen.

Some additional info that I forgot to add. My laptop wouldn't change brightness even though I was using the Function shortcut to change brightness, and so I thought disabling the display adapter which was rather stupid of me, and got a blue screen. After which, I got that screen I stated in the question.
