How to reset password from User on domain in Windows 10

Here are the steps to reset a domain user password in Windows 10:

1. Open the Computer Management tool:
   
   • Press Win + X, and select "Computer Management".
     
2. Expand Local Users and Groups:
   
   • In the left navigation pane, expand "System Tools" > "Local Users and Groups".
     
3. Find the target user:
   
   • Click "Users", and find the user whose password you need to reset in the right pane.
     
4. Reset the password:
   
   • Right-click the target user, and select "Set Password".
     

If you are using Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) management tools:

1. Open Active Directory Users and Computers:
   
   • Press Win + R, type dsa.msc, and press Enter.
     
2. Expand your domain:
   
   • In the left navigation pane, expand your domain and find the Organizational Unit (OU) that contains the user.
     
3. Find and reset the target user’s password:
   
   • In the right pane, find and right-click the target user, then select "Reset Password".

Active Directory user reset in every time

Hi

In my office, we use many windows 10 IOT installed PCs in Active Directory environment. The problem is when we going to login using Active Directory users following message is appeared and all user settings are wipe out and empty user account loaded.





I can list out some of the settings below

• Desktop picture set to the default one with the Windows logo
• Pinned taskbar shortcuts gone
• Internet Explorer Home page and other bookmarks
• All accounts in Chrome gone
• Custom regional settings gone
• Installed keyboard layouts gone
• Custom in-house applications shortcuts and settings are gone

I can reconfigure all settings again but those settings wipe out and empty profile loaded when next restart or power on happened. I tried couple of solutions emphasis in some forums including changing registry value
(HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList) but nothing gave sufficient solution.

The only solution is create new Active Directory user and configure settings in that user. But it is not better solution because we have over 500 AD users and unable to manage and create new users every time. Please give me some better solution for this
hampering problem. If there any question let me know.
