Windows 10: Out of memory problems

I am again getting problems with my 4 GB Ram TabletPC which is being brought to a halt frequently by 'out of memory' problems. Mostly it happens when browsing, usually with Opera. Sometimes it occurs right at the start with only one tab in use when trying to play a YouTube video for example, not just after extensive browser activity which would makes more sense to me.

When it is not happening I think the device works well, I can have a dozen tabs in use without trouble, not that I often do.

It also happened for a while some months ago. As before I can get a small amount of temporary benefit using a couple of memory cleaner apps, despite some 'experts' insisting they are totally useless, which I find is not true. But it is only a brief respite, perhaps providing enough time to get to the end of the a short video, or to close down before a crash. I also shut memory hogs with Task Managers but unfortunately they are almost always Norton Antivirus, and Malwarebytes, the very last programs I want to close when online.

Is there any way I can deal with this?

Need some advice on computer problems.

Run HDtune (free version) on you hard drive. but most likely that the problem. You can also test your memory with Memtest86 as suggested above
