    installed RAM 16 (7.9 usable)


    My upgrade from my old graphic card to the new one gives me this headache. Please someone help me. I tried every thing my motherboard is cleaned and my ram all 4 working but only 2 slot read and use #(1-2) no matter which 2 from the 4 rams they work but the other 2 slot never(3-4) I'm the motherboard can be usable. please help

    Moutherboard: asus m5a99fx pro r2.0
    CPU: AMD fx-8350 4.00 GHz
    GPU: EVGA GTX 1070 ti SC
    RAM: kingston hyperx beast ddr3 4G x 4 Pieces
    System type: windows 10 pro 64 bit
    Power supply: 600 wat gamemax

    winodws 10 24 gb ram installed only 16 usable

    I just upgraded from win 7 home premium 64 bit to win 10

    I know that the windows 7 version I had only went up

    to 16 gb of ram but I thought that Windows 10 had up

    to 128 gb limit.

    It still shows in the system that 24 gb is installed but only 16 is usable

    anyway to fix this, or do I need to try and create an install disk to do

    a clean install?

    My mb supports up to 32 gb ram

    I have 16GB RAM but it indicates only 1.98GB usable. How do I make all 16 usable?

    Ram I Newly Installed Is Not Usable

    The existing ram is also compatable alongside it. All of it shows and works besides only 16 gb of ram saying usable in the ram info.
