Windows 10: Bluetooth Headphones disconnect on first sound played (Sony WH-1000MX2)

Hi,

this is a problem bothering me for a few days now. Out of the blue my Sony WH-1000MX2 disconnect whenever I try to play sound on windows.


I switch on my headphones as usual, connect via "Bluetooth Devices" in notification area and get the "bluetooth connected" announcement via headphones. See following screenshot. Everything seems right, Headphones (Stereo) selected as default device, everything connected and working.





But as soon as I play any sound, no matter if music or just the "test" sound from the sound manager, the Headphones (Stereo) device disconnects right after it played what feels like half a second of whatever sound played. After that, I am left with the following situation.





I can not get the Headphones (Stereo) back to connect. I can disconnect the whole device (turn off and on again) or disconnect from the control center, but end up with exactly the same situation. At first it looks like it works but after the fist second of playback it just disconnects.


The thing is, it worked just fine until some days ago and every other device (phone and tablet with android and iOS both tested) is also working just as expected. It's only this laptop with windows 10 that just refuses to work.


And help / suggestions? I'm out of ideas here.

Windows 10 doesn't Recognize Sony WH-CH700N headphones as an Audio Device

Hello, I just bought Sony WH-CH700N headphones and they paired with my Dell XPS Destktop running Windows 10. The problem I'm facing is that they don't play any sound, video, or anything. My PC doesn't recognize it as an audio device. When I go to Sound
and Playback, they are there but show as disconnected. I tried unpairing them and pairing them again many times, but didn't fix anything. I tried the Troubleshoot on Sound and Bluetooth, but didn't do anything. I tried to reset the headphones to factory settings,
also nothing. More importantly, they worked with other devices and smartphones. Like I said, the problem seems that the Windows 10 (which up to date) doesn't see them as an audio device (headphones, headset). and I got old bluetooth headphones that still work
and show as a headphones device.

Any solution for weird problem?

 

Bluetooth headphones "disconnected" and will not reconnect

I recently bought new sony bluetooth headphones and they were working great (besides the fact that i had to go out and buy a dongle) until today when i noticed that only the "headset" would connect and there was not an option to input "headphones" like there
was before. So then i went to "playback deceives and noticed that it listed "headphones" as disconnected. i right clicked on it and clicked "connect" but it didn't do anything. I disconnected and reconnect my "headset" to test if it was something with my
Bluetooth but it disconnected and reconnect fine.

setting up win10 Bluetooth and my Bluetooth headphones work fine ,but every time I reconnect the headphones I have to delete them from Bluetooth settings and let win10 pickup the headphones again ,before they will pair ,then win10 want to reboot to add the headphones ,I reboot and they work fine ,but next time I plug the headphone in again they will not pair ,don't even get an option to pair till I delete the head phones from the list ,, any suggestions ,, thank
