  1. ReFS cannot properly detect and report corruption

I've performed quite a few tests with both mirrored and simple volumes having corrupted files. ReFS does a terrible job at detecting and reporting corruption. Many corrupt files go undetected when the should be caught. When corruptions are detected, they are most often not reported in the event log. Corrupted files are reported as fixed and then reported as having checksum errors. What a mess.

ReFS corruption detection does not work properly. This problem gets no attention because:

    (A) Nobody is looking for it--everyone assumes the product would have to be performing this most basic function.

    (B) An error is caught and reported every now and then which makes ReFS look like it works.

    (C) It’s difficult for end users to verify proper corruption detection through testing so nobody tests.

Anybody else testing with corrupted files? What are your results?

    :)

In post 26 there were steps listed to fix the operating system corruption.
Are you able to follow them?
In post 29 was the suggested dism repair command.

ReFS cannot properly detect and report corruption

programs not detected by "3d Detection"

I cant seem to get some of my 3d programs to be properly detected by 3d Detection.
a couple oldies but goodies, and yes, I do still play them.

    UnrealTournament engine games
    Halflife engine games

I suppose when I dust them off I could just manually load a profile, but it is much easier to just have proper 3d detection. I noticed an exception list, is there any way to create a list of applications that if detected running, atitool switches to your 3d profile?

    I've tried 0.23 and 0.24b1 no success.
    Using 5.2 Catalyst drivers.
3d detection verified operational by doom3, HL2, 3dmark2001,2003, aquamark and a few more.
