    Desktop wont Boot


    The desktop in my specs will not boot. I was testing out mounting a Macrium image on my desktop running the latest Skippy build. I was able to mount a older image created by a earlier version of Macrium. Next I tried mounting the newest image created with the newest version of Macrium which caused a GSOD. The computer didn't reboot automaticly so I hit the reset button. Then I tried mounting a different image causing a GSOD. I had to hit the reset button to get the computer to restart. The boot got as far as the Asrock screen and froze. The reset button didn't do anything so I held in the power button. Now the computer won't boot. The lights come on and the fans work. i have tried removing anything not necessary even the SSD and HDD and restarting with no luck. I have tried resetting the memory and power connectors to the motherboard. The monitors are not receiving any signals. The next thing I'm going to try is restarting with the memory removed to see if I get any beeps. Could this be a bad power supply or videocard?

    Edit: I removed the memory and there wasn't any beeps. I don't know if my desktop has a built in speaker so I don't know if this shows a motherboard problem or not.

    PC wont boot up (No POST, No Video)

    I recently installed a new Asus M5A99X Evo r2.0. The motherboard green LED lights up and the case and cpu fans spin. But there is no video when its hooked up to my monitor.

    Steps that i have tried:

    Made sure all connections are properly connected.

    Flashing the CMOS

    Tested the PSU

    Followed all steps in the user manual

    If there are any links that you guys can point me to or suggestions that could help it would be highly appreciated. Thank you

    Desktop not booting :/

    As suggested earlier, pull one stick; boot. Replace the stick and pull the other, boot. Post results.
