    I have my OneDrive mapped to my PC and whenever I reboot the machine it fails to reconnect. I saved my login credentials and checked reconnect at login. What happens is the authentication box opens with my username and password in it only in front of my username is the words "Microsoft Account" which prohibits the authentication. When I remove "Microsoft Account" it authenticates. I have checked the credential manager and there is no "Microsoft Account" before the username. Not sure what to do from here. Appreciate any help. Thank you.

    How can I get this mapped drive to reauthenticat at login

    I'm trying to get this mapped drive on an xp machine to reauthenticate when the computer reboots or is logged back in. The account the user uses is on a domain that is currently unavailable (server failure). The physical drive being mapped is on the other server which has the other domain here.

    Now i can login as another user i create on the domain, check reconnect at login no problem. But the next day files won't open unless she clicks the drive and enters the user password there. its not a big intervention, but id like it to be seemless.

    Suggestions?

    Windows 10 - OneDrive

    Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

    If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

    Mapped OneDrive but won't automatically connect


    I've done everything according to the book (or manual if you want) and mapped my OneDrive so I won't have all the cloud files stored on my hard drive (small tablet) and it works as long as I open the drive (click on it) in File Explorer, despite having set it to remember my credentials and reconnect automatically. But whenever I restart the computer the mapped drive is no longer available and I have to reconnect with it. Is this a bug in W10 or is there anything I can do to fix the problem.
