    White Lined Border around Desktop Icon after I click on it


    Hi! I am using "Windows 10 Pro", and I have this issue for a long time:

    • When I am on the Desktop I see all the icons like this: White Lined Border around Desktop Icon after I click on it dc9d7c30-6bc0-4e1e-933b-f8cea8a8e9e3?upload=true.png
    • Than I clink on an Icon, so I highlight that, it's OK: White Lined Border around Desktop Icon after I click on it bbb88dde-b283-4a52-9540-cbd98b18ff04?upload=true.png
    • Than I sideclick on the Desktop to unmark the icons, and that white border still remains: White Lined Border around Desktop Icon after I click on it a3f52d69-0f97-4478-8624-e9dc8a3aa9f6?upload=true.png


    I tried to restart the Windows Explorer, I tried to set the icon size. Nothing helped. If I refresh the desktop, with key F5, or right-click / Refresh, it disappears, but the next time I highlight an icon, it is there again.


    I know it is not normal, because there are PCs in my worksplace with the same operating system withhout this issue. It is very annoying. Is there any soulution for this, or do I have to refresh my desktop in every time?

    White Lined Border around Desktop Icon after I click on it

    I have windows 10 and I recently noticed that there is a lined white border around any desktop icon after I click on it. The border goes from one icon to another icon when I click on the other icon.

    How do I remove this border?

    Please help!

    Just to isolate the issue, have you tried to create a new user profile? Is there a lined white border around any desktop icon after you clicked on an icon?

    white line under icons on taskbar

    icons on taskbar in windows 10 has a white line under all programs list in it that are open, is there a way of removing it?
