    Good morning all

I have a recurring nightmare where my disk space is being gobbled up by files that have to do with something called Sandblast.

I've noticed in my googling that it has something to do with some endpoint protection product, specifically zonealarm, which has been uninstalled, yet these files are UNdeletable by me as administrator or me as me.

Can anyone assist me in how to rid my drive of these folders and make them not re-occur?

    Many thanks

    :)

    7970 Reference Design Cooler Questions

Hi, I found a new reference 7970 (may be old stock, since not ghz edition) for 300! *Smile Sandblast :)
However, I'm wondering a couple of things.

    • Is the vapor chamber and the core heatsink separable?
    • Can I replace the thermal pads with paste?
    • The vrm cooling section looks kinda dinky. Is the contact there sufficient? Is dissipation good enough since it's connected to the rest of the heatsink?
    • Would sandblasting/removing the anodization on the vapor chamber yield performance improvements?
    Thanks TPU!

    I has a few questions:

    1. Can 1/4" or 3/8" polycarbonate or acrylic be etched with a sandblaster?

    2. What are the steps one would take to prep and paint the steel chassis pictures in the OP? How about the side panels and plastic pieces which are painted?

    3. What is a good simple program I could use to create simplistic colour 3D renders of the computer case?

    Solvent for Styrofoam

I'm going to give that a try, it was on my list.

Last resort, I have a 3000psi pressure washer as another option. Also have a large compressor and was looking for an excuse to buy a sand blaster nozzle *Wink Sandblast ;)
