Windows 10: 20% cpu usage by 'System' after sleep - ntoskrnl.exe / ACPI.sys / hal.dll

Hello,

I can't recall when this started happening but even after a clean installation of Windows 10, when my laptop goes out of sleep the 'System' process uses 20% of my cpu. Process explorer shows that 'ACPI.sys' is to blame. I already tried all the basic fixes that I found for a similar problem, most were saying its a faulty driver so I ran a xperf trace for WPA but couldnt find anything exept for some loop calls to 'HalpPCIConfig' :

The only thing I have found is a weird behaviour when I disable the 'USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller' in device manager the pc wont go out of sleep and when I uninstall them and try to go out of sleep it staight crashes and reinstalls them.

I'm truly lost now and would appreciate any help.

My laptop is a 'msi GS60 6QE ghost pro 4k'

I tried clean boot - Nothing has changed.

- Power on - CPU ¬15% system ( CPU-0 copy) / ntoskrnl / ACPI

- Restart - no issue

- Sleep - no issue

- Hibernate - no issue

I think problem is with BIOS or with Windows
