Windows 10: Secondary display issues - iMac running Windows 10 on bootcamp

I'm running Windows 10 on an iMac 27" using Bootcamp. I have a secondary display attached to the iMac.

The problem:
The secondary display is recognized when the device boots up. I have the display configuration set to

"Extend this display"

The iMac is configured as "set this as the main display".

While the iMac has a screen resolution of 5120x2880, the secondary display has a maximum resolution of 1920x1080, because of which moving across both screens is not smooth.

I can live with this discrepancy (It is smooth when running on Mac OS X with no such issues). There are however a couple of issues

1. My display settings are not remembered if i close the Settings>>Display window and open again. "Extend this display", although previously checked is now unchecked. This is an intermittent problem and does not always happen.

2. If i put the computer in sleep mode and wake up again, the secondary display is not recognized at all. The secondary display remains just a black screen. The Settings>>Display window does not show the secondary display as well. Unless i restart the computer, the secondary display does not get recognized.

How can i 'fix' these issues ? Any help is appreciated. Thank you

Windows 10 upgrade on a 5K IMAC running windows 7 with Bootcamp

I have a new IMAC 5K running Windows 7 with Bootcamp. Will I be able to upgrade to Windows 10 or will I have to wait for new Bootcamp drivers from Apple at some point in the future?

Please help me to understand a bit more:

• You upgraded directly from the Windows 10 normal upgrade?
  • Got the "bad pool header" issue (that I have no idea what it is)
• 
  Searched the latest drivers... and found a Wifi driver more recent than Bootcamp 4.
  
• 
  Can you please tell me the name of the driver and where did you find it?
  
• 
  And a Wifi driver is that important for an iMac? I have my iMac with an ethernet cable.
  
• How do you run the bootcamp 4 app? The app is simply there; I just choose one OS or the other.

Please excuse my lack of knowledge on all this and if you could help me to understand it, I would be very much grateful.

 

License Activation On Apple Hardware - REINSTALL, NO BOOTCAMP

BACKGROUND:

• Purchased Windows 10 Home at Best Buy on USB stick
• Purchase Included a Windows 10 Home Product Key
• Installed Windows on iMac using Apple's BootCamp utility
  
• Windows 10 installation resides on it's own partition
• Runs perfect

THE PLAN:

• Reformat iMac Hard Drive as NTFS
• Reinstall Windows 10 Home on full drive, eliminating Apple's OSX system
  
• Use the iMac as a Windows machine

QUESTION:

Will I encounter any License Activation Issues? If so how do I deal with it?
