1. What is the make and model of the mouse?
2. How is the mouse connected?

The reasons for lag could be the interference from certain hardware or software, Windows settings, or types of peripherals used.



You may try the methods listed below and check if it works.



Method 1

Adjust Display Pointer trails:

1. Open ‘Control Panel’ and search for ‘Mouse’.
2. Click on ‘Change Mouse settings’ and select ‘Pointer
   Options’.
3. Turn on ‘Display pointer trials’, change the setting to the shortest possible and Apply.
4. Exit Control Panel and check if the issue persists.

Method 2

Try the troubleshooting steps listed in Mouse, touchpad, and keyboard problems
in Windows.

I appreciate the troubleshooting steps you have tried to resolve the issue. I suggest you to install all pending Windows updates and check. Follow the steps below and check if that helps.

• Type Mouse and Touchpad Setting in Search and hit
  Enter.
• Change settings as per your requirement; click on Advance mouse options.
• Change settings under Buttons, Points, Pointer options, Wheel.
