Windows 10: Colour Rendering Problem, Any Media Player - Win10

Hello

I have found that ANY multimedia player, (MS or 3rd Party), is not able to display colour of my MP4 or WMV videos... However, there is one exception, and that is the VLC Media Player, which obviously must have it's own Codecs. However, I do prefer the "Films & TV" player as it is light-weight, but since I clearly have a major system problem, I would like to FIX this once and for all.

This is a list of Video Codecs I have as reported by "MSINFO32".

msrle32.dll, msrle32.dll.mui
msvidc32.dll, msvidc32.dll.mui
msyuv.dll, tsbyuv.dll

I have found these DLL's from my other Win10 PC, and replaced or overwritten them on the PC with the problem, but this did not resolve the problem either. Used the "RESET" feature of the Win10 player, "Films & TV", but without success. I have also Installed the K-Lite Codec pack & MPC-HC 64bit without any resolution to my problem

I think I may have a Registry corruption. Is there a way I can replace or re-register some info in the Windows Registry?
What else I can I do?

Remember... VLC Media Player works Perfectly.

• What exactly happens when you try to play DVDs on Windows Media Player?
• Are the DVDs being detected on your computer?

I suggest you to run Windows Media Player DVD troubleshooter.

Windows Media Player DVD troubleshooter find and fix problems with playing DVDs in Windows Media Player.

Steps:

• Press Windows key, type troubleshooting
  and select it.
• Click on View all in the left pane.
• Click on Windows Media Player DVD and follow the onscreen instructions.

What is the exact error message you get when you to try play files on Windows Media Player?

I suggest you to run both Windows Media Player Library and Settings troubleshooter and check.

Step 1: If your computer is having problems playing video or audio files in Windows Media Player, try using the Windows Media Player Settings troubleshooter to fix the problem. The troubleshooter checks the configuration and network settings
for Windows Media Player to make sure that you can play content you've downloaded and saved to your computer, or content streaming over a network or the Internet.

Steps to run Windows Media Player Settings troubleshooter are as follows:

• Press Windows key + X and select Control Panel.
• In the search box, type troubleshooter, and then click
  Troubleshooting.
• Click View all, and then click Windows Media Player Settings
  and follow the instructions.

Step 2: If your computer is having problems accessing your collection of digital media files in the Windows Media Player Library, try using the Windows Media Player Library troubleshooter to fix the problem. The troubleshooter makes sure
Windows Media Player is correctly installed on your computer, and checks to see whether your Player Library is corrupted.
