Windows 10: Can't boot my laptop in normal mode

it all started a month ago when i was playing a game on my laptop as usual. Then i decided to watch a movie and when i opened windows explorer it got stucked after it opened. Usually if something like that happens it only lasts for 30 or 40 seconds but it lasted for more than 2 mintutes. I had to forcefully shut it down by pulling out the power wire ( I have removed the battery from my laptop). When i booted it after that it showed a blue screen error saying Crictical Process Died. It kept showing it consecutively for more than 10 times. I searched for it on google and found a few methods on how to fix it (many websites have the same methods). System Restore didn't work but it did gave me a new problem. I then got to knew about safe mode. It booted up without any problems on safe mode (It still does). It showed another error on safe mode after i system restored it twice ( Did the first one before using safe mode). The blue screen problem got solved with selective startup option. But one day when i was using my laptop, the power circuit of the switch my laptop charger's was plugged onto failed and my laptop automatically shutted down. I tried to boot it by doing the same thing again but it showed the same problem with selective startup (Critical process died). Then i booted it up in safe mode again and used diagnostic startup and it got booted normally and when i ran msconfig.exe it was on selective startup with all three options checked. It worked fine for two weeks. But then yesterday when i logged in the screen only showed black screen (No desktop). I used ctrl+alt+del to open task manager and it opened without any problem but the desktop still didn't open. I re-opened explorer.exe again but still nothing. I restarted it but still same. I opened safe mode and did the same i did before (Diagnostic startup). But this time its not loading startup items and when i try to use the selective startup option it shows the blue screen error. It also showed bad pool header a few times. I can still login and desktop opens up without any problem. But its like safe mode and you can use third party applications. And the error system restore gave me was wefault.exe and explorer.exe. Wefault.exe pops up first and slows everything until i manage to close it but everything runs fine after closing wefault.exe and not closing explorer.exe error. if i also close explorer.exe, both wefault and explorer.exe error will pop up after a few minutes. But if i dont close exploree.exe error and let it remain open everything works fine. Please give me an solution as i am yet to consult any expert on this case.

I am still running my laptop without "Load Startup items" because whenever i do it shows critical process died. Will resetting my laptop without deleting my personal files fix this problem or i have to do a clean reset? Or i can fix this problem without resetting my laptop?. If anyone has an solution, please reply.

PC stuck in Safe mode, unable to boot to Normal mode.

I appreciate if you could answer few questions to narrow down the issue and to provide you better assistance.

• What error do you get when you try to boot in normal mode?
• Did you entered Safe mode through Windows Recovery Environment or through System Config?

I suggest you to try the below given steps and check if it works:

• Press Windows key + R and type msconfig and hit enter.
  
• On the General tab, tap or click the Normal Startup option.
• On the Boot tab, uncheck all the option under Safe mode.
• Tap or click OK, when you are prompted to restart the computer, tap or click Restart.

Can't boot into Normal/Safe Mode with Networking, only safe mode...


Good Evening,
I could do with some pointers on resolving an issue. I can only boot into windows in safe mode in Windows 10. Normal mode and safe mode with networking doesn't work. The problem occurred after a windows update. I have removed the latest updates that were installed and cleared any pending ones but it still won't boot properly. I have also run the troubleshooter and tried to recovery to an earlier date which also doesn't work.
The laptop is a HP ENVY 17 notebook. At boot it just gets to the HP logo with the circular loading icon and no further and can only boot it into safe mode. Can anyone recommend the next steps? I have also tried the following;

• stopping startup items
• uninstalling hardware drivers
• removing recent software
• running troubleshooters at boot
• sfc scan
• diagnostic/selective startups with minimal services running

Would the fact that I cant boot into Safe Mode with Networking imply its a network driver related issue?
Bit of a dead end really, any help would be much appreciated
