Windows being moved while watching shows on TV using computer.

So basically I have 2 monitors and TV hooked up to my computer. While watching shows on the TV after 10-15 minutes approx the screen on the tv will flash and I will lose audio and video for about 20 seconds while it flickers then it will continue to play the show. This is while in full screen on the TV. I am using MPC-BE 64 to play these files. So what happens during all that flashing is that all the windows that are on my main monitor get moved behind the video on the TV. Anyone have any idea why this is happening?

    :)

    Watching TV on Computer

I have a home office with windows10 pro with 3 monitors on my desk,on my old Windows7 system I could watch tv with a Win-TV HRV-1850 tv card. Can't make this work in Windows10 and not sure why, maybe the card is bad now. It was setting in a box for months while I built new system. Anyway is there any good TV cards out there that will run with windows 10? Its kinda nice to watch the news while working. Just looking for suggestions. I have dish network for tv so I have a coax cable coming to my computer.

    Watch TV through my PC?

you can use a TV tuner card as suggested, or a USB tuner device. this will also enable you to record TV shows to your computer.
another option is buying a monitor that also support TV/Cable input. this way you can watch TV without turning on your computer.
I have two Samsung 225ms in the kids rooms, which I can highly recommend.
