  1. No internet after restart from Sleep / use powerline, not wireless?

Hi. I'm in the habit of using Sleep mode on my desktop PC. On restart, there is no wifi so I've always had to click the wifi symbol in the Taskbar and then Disconnect/Connect. This has never bothered me unduly but I'm now having to do this twice: the first Disconnect/Connect only gets me back online for a minute or so then the connection fails.

Although I've no proof it's the cause, this situation began after a Windows Update a few days ago.

I wonder if anyone is able to suggest cause and cure?

Also, its made me think about how I connect to the router. Hardwiring is not an option but I've just been reading about 'powerline adapters'. What do you think of them as a replacement for a USB wireless adapter? Thank you.

    :)
