    How do I vote on a locked thread?


    Many threads say "This thread is locked. You can follow the question or vote as helpful, but you cannot reply to this thread."


    How do I vote on such a locked thread?


    Note: posting this under Virus and Malware, which it has nothing to do with (unless you think Skype is turning into malware), because I could not find a "Category" for questions about this community.

    Windows spotlight not displaying vote button + "Some settings are hidden or managed by your organisation"

    On Windows 10 with the Fall Creators Update, I was seeing spotlight background pictures on the lock screen, but while my home device would show a voting button and useful information about the picture, my work laptop would skip that part and display the password prompt.

    Other threads suggested

    1. Opening the Settings app
    2. Go to Personalization > Lock Screen
    3. Change Background from Windows Spotlight to Picture.
    4. Change it back.

    Only, this interface was also showing the error message "Some settings are hidden or managed by your organisation" and didn't allow chaging the Background setting.

    thread lock

    My problem is in viewing youtube vdeos the picture zooms to a small part of the picture as soon as play is pressed.

    One suggestion somewhere was that the thread was locked which I dont understand and that I should unlock it to access overlay????
