Just had the BSOD for 10 minutes - where do I find the Events log (?) that will show...

I was in Facebook earlier when I had the BSOD - nothing I did got my laptop working. I tried again 10 minutes later and was relieved to see the MS account log-on screen, which I filled in as normal. I was then surprised when I logged in to find everything that had been open was still open, including outlook.com, an open Notepad and an MS Comm thread.

So, an easy 5-star answer for someone - how do I find the Events log (I think that's the name) please?

    :)

BSOD during boot every other time

The Event Logs did not show any evidence of BSODs so they may not even be recorded in the Event Viewer.

At this point I might suggest to try a clean boot, restart the computer a few times, and see if the same BSODs occur:

Follow the steps for Windows 8.1. Windows Key + S opens Search

Windows 10 wont stay in sleep mode

    yes, it was already off.

its waking up one hour after it sleeps for about 2 minutes, then sleeping again. How the eff can i track what it does in that time if nothing shows in powerCFG or the event log?
