Windows 10: Why did unwanted grey border line display in photo app in windows 10?

As the title above,

Whenever I open an image with white background by Photo App in Windows 10 and use mouse to zoom in or zoom out, The unwanted border line shows. This is the bug of Microsoft Windows 10?

The Photos App has started to display photos with a grey border around them when not in full screen mode.

You can use feedback to suggest changes, but I assure you that this is exactly what the Photos app is supposed to show photos as.

But in the end, the user remembered found that the gray border does not persist outside of photos. Open the photo in Paint and it will be the same size as it is in Photos, just without the border. The border is purely aesthetic and does not have any effect
on the photo.

Another user found that the problem was not actually a problem but that they mis-remembered how it looked outside of fullscreen.

At this current moment, I do not believe there is a setting or fix for this other than changing photo apps or feedback hub.

 

Grey Borders in Photos App

Is there any way to get rid of the grey borders in the photos app on Windows 10?

Normally the image is supposed to be able to reach the edges of the window, and if I zoom in it cuts off the sides of the image to make room for the border.
