Windows 10: Pincode not available due to change in security settings. Laptop locked.

I have a brand new surface laptop.


I have logged with my office account and password.

The systems requiered a Pin code which I created.


After the window update after restart I have the mentioned error (translated from dutch).


And "You can change the PIN via settings > Accounts> etc"



However. As I can not logon and the systems does not provide any option then restart I have no clue how to do this.


I already did reset the windows back to factory standards but on the second try I have the same effect.


Please help.

Laptop won't show list of available networks

We suggest checking the list of available Wi-Fi networks on your laptop.

Please follow these steps:

• Click the Windows logo.
• Go to Settings (gear icon).
• Select Network and Internet.
• Then Wi-Fi.
• Make sure the Wi-Fi radio button is On.
• Select Show available networks, then you'll be able to see the list of available Wi-Fi networks.

Lock Screen keeps changing

Windows Spotlight picks the photos from Bing and displays them in the lock screen. I understand that you have set a picture and it is getting changed automatically.

I suggest you to follow the steps to select the Picture that you want to be displayed on the lock screen. Please follow the steps mentioned below to set a Picture to lock screen:

1. Press and hold Windows + I key on the keyboard to open settings.
   
2. Click on Personalization.
   
3. Click on Lock screen.
   
4. Click on the drop down under Background and select
   Picture.
   
5. Click on Browse and select the picture that you want to set.
