Windows 10: Where can I find power/display/drive settings for Sleep Mode?

Windows 10 v.1803, build 10.0.17134.165


My laptop is set to Sleep when the lid is closed or when the Sleep button is pushed (though it doesn't have a Sleep button).
The settings in "Power Options" are
"Power buttons and lid"
- "Lid close action"
- - "On battery:" Sleep
- - "Plugged in:" Sleep
- "Power button action"
- - "On battery:" Shut down
- - "Plugged in:" Shut down
- "Sleep button action"
- - "On battery:" Sleep
- - "Plugged in:" Sleep

However, clicking on the battery icon in the tray opens a battery status box that has a "Battery settings" link. Clicking "Battery settings" opens a "Settings" "Battery" window. In that window I see this: "Sleep is set to Never on battery power".

I searched every power setting on the many pages of settings and have not found any that says "Never" in Sleep. In fact, I find no power setting in Sleep. I find no display setting in Sleep. I find no drive setting in Sleep. In fact, I don't believe there are any such settings. Can anyone direct me to where it (or they) is found?

PS: I have searched for an answer across all of Microsoft, but other people seem to have a problem with their computers sleeping too much, not sleeping too little (or not at all).

Sleep mode no longer function on display power?

Please follow the below methods and check if it works,

Method 1: Power Troubleshoot.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with power. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Power.

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel.

• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons.
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel.
• Run the Power troubleshooter.

Method 2:

Please let us know whether you are able to see the sleep mode options by referring the following steps

1. In Search bar type Control panel

2. Select Power options

3. In power saver select change power settings and after that
select Change advanced power settings in that check whether you can see the
sleep mode.

For issues with sleep mode and power options follow the steps provided below.

Run the Power troubleshooter and check.

Follow the steps to run the troubleshooter:

• Open Control Panel.
• Type Troubleshooting in search and click
  Troubleshooting.
• Now type Power in the search option.
• Click on Power troubleshooter to run.

I would suggest you to try updating the Display driver and check if the issue persists. If you already have all the latest drivers from Windows updates, then I would suggest you to visit the computer manufacturer's website, download and install the latest
drivers in compatibility mode and check.
