  1. Word no longer printing since August 2018

Since August 2018, MS Word does not print.... Vers. 2016 or 2003. If I make them a pdf, they print. Will not print as Word doc on network printer or on wired printer. I have uninstalled/re-installed printer and software, update drivers, cleared errors, you name it...everything suggested in past posts on this topic. This seems to be a problem starting in August 2018 for many people. MS needs to look at whatever updates they did then.

    :)

To further troubleshoot your printing concern, we suggest that you create a test user profile. Using the test user profile, try to print an Excel, Word and Adobe file.

To create a test user profile, follow these steps:

    • On Search, type Setting then hit the Enter key.
    • On Settings window, select Accounts.
    • Select Family & other people.
    • Select Add someone else to this PC.
    • Name the user profile as TEST.
    • Assign a password for TEST user, then select Next.
    • Sign in TEST user.
Please take note if you will experience the printing issue on TEST user.

    Hi Mary,

Additional details will help us to better understand the issue. Please answer these questions:

    • What is format of the file that you are trying to print?
    • Have you encountered any error messages?
    • What form are you trying to print? It would be better if you'll provide a screenshot.
    • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

    Printing word docs

I have windows 10 and Microsoft office 16.

Suggestions did not work. I problem lies with emailed documents which are in word. New word documents print.

    The printer reads printing reports.
