    BSOD during gaming

    Hi, so I have been experiencing blue screens during any form of intensive gaming e.g. Battlefield, Assassin's Creed Odyssey. I assumed it was a memory related issue, I have replaced the kit of RAM I was using to no success. I have since also replaced my motherboard as it was under warranty still. The issues did not occur for the 1st day after install however, have returned.

    Specs:

    Ryzen 5 2600 3.4GHz

    MSI BF450 Gaming Plus

    2 x (2x4) HyperX DDR4 2666mhz CL15 288-pin - HX426C15FBK2/8

    Nvidia GTX 970 - Asus Strix 4GB

    XFX 550w P1-550S-XXB9 PSU

    120gb Kingston V400 SSD - OS

    500gb Crucial SSD - Storage

    1TB Seagate 7200rpm HDD - Storage

    Dump Files: https://mega.nz/#F!ur4j3S5I!-6koZA755v-0KdI9SkbE6w

    MSInfo32 File: https://mega.nz/#!u341EIgJ!CN58QXcw8KuuUYusNFLGw_9M3yYdkDNl97xbfO4t4H4

    Event log file: https://mega.nz/#!3mwhmSgZ!jgdX85dXxdCplVwalSJpu-1gJzT-duUY_1MaCx3BUD4

    I had a 3rd kit of RAM, and have tested each stick individually and still successfully boot. Upon using 4 sticks - 16gb - I will bluescreen most of the time as I get into windows, usually shortly after login.

    I have not overclocked any component of my system.

    With my old motherboard: Asrock B450 Pro, I was experiencing issues where windows would only detect half of my RAM, 4gb out of 8gb at the time, 8/16 sometimes (although not always). In my MSInfo I have just realised that this has happened again detecting only 4gb out of the 8gb installed. Currently hardware reserved 4gb.

    I have:

    Replaced motherboard
    Replaced RAM
    Reset CMOS
    Updated BIOS
    Updated Drivers
    Ran Windows Memory Diagnostic
    Tried a new SSD for windows install.
    Tried enabling and disabling XMP memory profiles
    Disconnecting any other drives other than my primary SSD
    Currently have Driver verify running I believe however, i'm quite unfamiliar with how it works.

    I'm really not having a nice time here!

    Cheers in advanced for any assistance in the matter!

    :)

    7 different BSoD

    Hey guys,

    I have a serious problem. I make it as short as possible:

    • system runs 100 % fine with the 10.12
    • updatet to Catalyst 11.1 -> BSoD
    • updatet to 11.1 Hotfix -> BSoD
    • rollback to 10.12 -> BSoD
    • removed ALL AMD files manually, installed 10.12 -> BSoD
    • Temps are fine
    • no sfc /scannow errors
    • no chkdsk errors
    • Prime, Furmark all fine
    • regardless what driver I install -> BSoD
    • I did no hw changes, no OC
    Here are my BSoDs I receive:
    • 0x0000010e
    • 0x1000007e
    • 0x0000007e
    • 0x0000004e
    • 0x0000003b
    • dxgmms1.sys
    • PFN_LIST_CORRUPT
    They all refer to the GPU of course ...

    From now on I receive a BSoD every time I try to play a game (especially BC2 and SC II) even if I completely remove the old driver and make a clean install.
    Apparently the 11.1 damaged my system irreparable.

    Any advice or info would be very much appreciated *Smile BSOD during gaming :)
