Windows 10: My laptops brightness is stuck at the lowest possible!

Discus and support My laptops brightness is stuck at the lowest possible! in Windows 10 Customization to solve the problem; Ive tried using the keys and using the slider in settings but neither have worked!     Ive tried using the keys and using the slider in settings but neither have worked! I can barely see the screen! Please help

    The Lowest Brightness On Windows 10

    I have a problem with the screen brightness, the lowest brightness it only can be set 62%. If I set lower than that, the screen will display totally black. Is there anyone who had same problem whit me? Or anyone can help me how to fix it?

    Hi Serin,

    A faulty hardware is one of the possible causes why you're unable to adjust the brightness properly.

    To help you resolve your concern, we suggest that you follow these steps:

    • Run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter. Type troubleshooting in Cortana, under Troubleshoot, click Hardware and Devices and then run the program.
    • Update the driver. Go to Device Manager> Display adapters> Driver> Update Driver. If the driver is up-to-date, please look at the manufacturers website so that you can see the most compatible driver for your computer.

    Do let us know if you have any other concerns.

    Windows 10 - screen brightness issues

    Since upgrading to Windows 10 I am having problems with the brightness on my Sony Vaio laptop. It keeps dropping to the lowest setting, meaning that the screen is constantly dark and when I change the settings to increase brightness, it only stays bright
    for a minute or two and then it returns to the lowest setting. I have been through all the settings on my machine and my drivers are up to date. I just can't find a solution to the problem. Any suggestions?
